IN MEMORIAM

BRAIRTON - In loving memory of our dear mother, Bridget BRAIRTON born in Nenah, parish of Mount Sea, County Tipperary, Ireland, September 5, 1836; died in Rochester, N. Y., November 14, 1912.
        Oh, guard our affection, nor e're let it feel the blight
        That this world o'er the warmest will steal;
        While the faith of all round us is fading or past
        Let ours, ever green, keep its bloom to the last.

       Far safer for Love 'tis to wake and to weep,
       As he used in his prime, than go smiling to sleep;
       For death on his slumbers, cold death follows fast,
       While the love that is wakeful lives on to the last.

      And though, as Time gathers his clouds o'er our head,
      A shade somewhat darker o'er life they may spread;
     Transparent, at least, be the shadows they cast.
      So that Love's softened light may shine through to the last.

CHAPMAN - In sad but loving memory of our dear Anabelle, who entered into eternal rest November 16, 1912.
       We had a little treasure once,
       She was our joy and pride;
       We loved her, oh, perhaps too much,
       For soon she slept and died.

      This lovely bud, so young and fair,
      Called home by early doom,
      Just came to show how sweet a flower
      In paradise would bloom.

      Ere sin could harm or fade
      Death came with friendly care,
      The opening bud to heaven conveyed
      And bade it blossom there
      Mother, Father, Sister and Brother.

MARKS - In loving memory of Mabel MARKS.
      Often we think of our dear girl,
     And our hearts are sad with pain,
     O, this would be a heaven
     Could we hear her voice again.

     Just a year ago she left us,
     How we miss her loving face!
     But she left us to remember
     None on earth can take her place

    Gently the stars are shining
    Down on the silent grave,
    Where lies our dear girl sleeping.
     The one we loved but could not save.
            Mother, Father and Sister

GERSTNER - In loving memory of my dead mother, Mrs. Paulina GERSTNER, who was called away from us November 14, 1912.
        Peaceful be thy silent slumber,
       Peaceful in thy grave so low;
       Thou no more will join our number;
       Thou no more our sorrows know.

      Yet again we hope to meet thee,
       When the day of life is fled,
       And in heaven with joy to greet thee,
      Where no farewell tears are shed.
                                Daughter

ABERT - In sad but loving memory of our dear father, Philip J. ABERT, who entered into rest Saturday, November 16, 1912.
        Often we think of our dear father,
        And our hearts are sad with pain,
        O, this would be a heaven
       Could we hear the voice again,

      Just a year ago he left us,
      __ we miss his loving face
      But he left us o remember
      None on earth can take his place,
     Gentle the stars are shining
     Down on the silent grave
     Where __ our dear father sleeps
     The one we loved, but could not save.
