George SCHMITT, aged 62 years, 11 months. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Martin BRASSER,
of Irondequoit, and one grandson, George BRASSER.

Not Much Left Of Contents Of Building
- North Street Alarm
An overheated stove started a fire in
the unoccupied building at No. 479 North street yesterday morning. The
building is owned by Hyman LERNER and has just been finished. When smoke
issued from the building a man turned in an alarm from box 252, and Battalion
Chief LYNCH and five companies responded. Damage $10.
An
overheated stove set fire to the cigar factory of Rubin & Hurvitz, No. 40
Sellinger street, early yesterday morning, and $1,000 damage was done. The
factory was a long frame building and adjoined the house of Abram RUBIN. The
firemen had much difficulty in preventing the blaze from getting into the
house. The cigarmakers carried about $500 worth of stock.

Worcester, Mass., Nov. 9 - Robert
SCHEISWOLD, S. J., moderator of the Holy Cross Dramatic Club, has selected the
cast for "Richelie_," which is to be presented by the students in
one of Worcester's theaters, A. Rogers SMITH, 1913, of Rochester, will appear
in the role of Richeliec's first secretary.

Charles A. TOPHAM, son of Mrs. Mary
E., and the late Edward J. TOPHAM, died last night at the home, No. 377 Brown
street, aged 41 years. He leaves his mother, three sisters, Mrs. Henry DENGLER
and Marie and Ella TOPHAM; four brothers, Edward J., Joseph J., Frank A. and
William A. TOPHAM, and a nephew, Walter KEENAN.
Peter JOHNSON died Saturday evening
at his home, No. 225 Mount Hope avenue, aged 49 years. He leaves his wife,
Mary; five sons, Charles, Peter, Edward, George and Henry JOHNSON, and three
daughters, Elizabeth, Anna and Jennie JOHNSON. He was a member of Highland
Tent, K. O. T. M.
Mabel Lillian HOLLENBECK died
yesterday afternoon at the home, No. 40 Friedrich park, aged 3 years, 7 months
and 3 days. She leaves her parents, Charles and Emma HOLLENBECK, and a sister,
Leona A. HOLLENBECK.
Joseph C. COOK died Saturday night at
the home, No. 298 Curlew street, aged 35 years. He leaves his wife, Mary; four
daughters, two sons, his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
The infant son of John and Lillian
PARKER HOLTFOTH died yesterday morning at the home, No. 257 Field street.

CY YOUNG MAY PITCH AGAIN
Portland, Ore., Nov. 10 - An offer
has been made to Denton T. YOUNG, the famous Cy, to manage the Portland team
of the Northwestern League next year. Fielder JONES, president of the league,
and the McCREDIES, owners of the local club, are using their efforts to
influence YOUNG in accepting the job, as they believe he would make a strong
drawing card out here, where he never has been seen in action. They want him
to attempt pitching as well as the handling of the team if he is willing to
continue as an active player.

JOE PATCHEN I I, KEEPS IT UP
Los Angeles, Nov. 10 - Joe PATCHEN I.
I., the season's greatest stallion, hung up a new coast record at Exposition
Park here yesterday. In a trial against time PATCHEN paced a mile in 2:00 3-4.
The former coast record was 2:04, made by Miner Heir in 1910. PATCHEN was
driven by Havis JAMES.

to-day that Joseph TINKER, of the Chicago club, would be the 1913 manager of
the Cincinnati club.

Sophia, widow of Albert WEBER, died
Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph MEYER, No. 112 Cady
street, aged 68 years. She leaves one son, Frank WEBER, of Syracuse; two
daughters, Mrs. Eugene CHRYSTAL and Mrs. MEYER, of this city; four
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva BOSS, of this city, and Mrs. IMMERMAN,
of Germany. She was a member of the Rosary Society of SS. Peter and Paul's
Church and the Swiss Ladies' Benevolent Society.
The funeral of Mrs. Anna M. FORSTER
WENGLEIN, wife of August WENGLEIN, took place yesterday morning at 8 o'clock
from the family home, No. 550 Maple street, and at 8:30 o'clock from Holy
Family Church. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. J. J. BAIER. The bearers
were J. J. F__S, William METZGER, Joseph KERBER, Frank FROEHIER, Peter
DETAMBLE and George STEGER. Interment was made at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
Cecelia, daughter of Victor and Mary
HAENSLY, died yesterday at the family home, No. 800 South avenue, aged 15
years. She leaves, besides her parents, two brothers, Oswald HAENSLY, of
Buffalo, and Albert HAENSLY, of this city, and one sister, Irene HAENSLY.
Marie D. MARSH, of Clover street,
Brighton, died Sunday night in this city, aged 13 years. She leaves her
father, Harry G. MARSH. The remains were removed to No. 265 North street.
Geraldine, daughter of Matthew and
Amelia MEISENZAHL died last night at the family home, No. 13 Laforce street,
aged 14 months.

is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. D. CRONIN and Miss Georgie McLEAN,
seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. W. CUMMINGS, of
Wellington. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, O'Rorke Post, G. A. R.
and Knights of Macabees.

interment. Services will be conducted at the grave in Maplewood cemetery at 3
