MULCAHEY - In this city, Sunday, May 5, 1912, Ann Elizabeth, wife of Daniel MULCAHEY, aged 52 years. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, John, Michael and James MULCAHEY.

MRS. ALMA LESTER ROSE PECK

Auburn, May 6 - Alma Lester Rose, widow of the late George W. PECK, died this morning at the homestead in South street, where she had resided for over a quarter of a century. The deceased was in the 84th year of her age. She had been in feeble health for a number of years. Formerly she was very active in the social and philanthropic work of Auburn societies. She was born in Windsor, Broome county, but had resided in Auburn since 1849. She leaves one son, George R. PECK, editor of the Auburn Advertiser, and one daughter, Mrs. M. R. GAGE, of Los Angeles, Cal.

DEATH OF CHRISTIAN ALTPETER
 
Well-Known Barber Dies Suddenly of Heart Disease
 
Christian ALTPETER, 42 years old, died suddenly late Wednesday night at his home, No. 52 Richmond street. He leaves his wife, two sons, Christian and William ALTPETER, his mother, five sisters and two brothers.
     Mr. ALTPETER had not been well for a few weeks. He often complained of an affection of the heart, but until his last illness his friends had no thought that his condition was serious. He was a barber and was associated with Henry C. GRELL in the shop at No. 19 Main street west for sixteen years. After a fortnight's severe illness Mr. ALTPETER returned to his shop last week. He was thought to be on the road to recovery. He was a member of Orient Lodge, I. O. O. F. and the Woodmen of the World.

The funeral of Franklin HINCHEY took place yesterday afternoon at the family home in Gates. The services were conducted by Rev. John B. WHITE, assisted by Rev. Frank G. WEEKS, of Wyoming. The Rochester Male Quartette sang. The honorary bearers were: Albert HARRIS, of New York; Joseph DREXILIONS, of Buffalo; William PETTIS, George GIFFORD, Don BEACH, of Rochester; Frank BRONSON, of Mt. Vernon, and Clarence ARGUS, of Dresden. The active bearers were members of the session at the Gates Presbyterian Church, of which Mr. HINCHEY was a member: D. M. JACKLING, Lynn CARRY, S. JACKLING, Edward F. McCAULEY, Theodore SPERRY, J. P. WOODMANCY. Interment was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
 
Mrs. Susan ZIEGLER, a wife of George A. ZIEGLER, died Thursday night at the family home, No. 1,335 Clinton avenue north, aged 53 years. She leaves, besides her husband, one son, Fred ZIEGLER and eight daughters, Mrs. Fred HEHN, of Irondequoit; Mrs J. VINCK, Mrs. E. G. MILLER, Miss Sophia, Miss Frieda, Miss Elsie, Miss Dorothy and Miss Helen ZIEGLER, of Rochester.
 
Mrs. Julia MANSFIELD, wife of Thomas MANSFIELD, died yesterday afternoon at the family home, No. 15 Grant street, aged 61 years. She leaves her husband, three sons, James T., Frank and Albert MANSFIELD; two daughters, Mrs. Leo STARKS and Miss Josephine MANSFIELD. She was a member of Council No. 23, C. R. B. A.
 
The funeral of Mrs. Harriet E. GREENE was held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the family home No. 32 North Goodman street. The remains will be taken to Albion and interment will be made in Albion cemetery.
 
Charles EAST, of South Greece, died yesterday morning at the General Hospital, aged 22 years. The remains have been removed to No. 265 North street.
 
Mrs. Wilhelmina HEFT died yesterday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law, William NEHRING, No. 57 Terharr street, aged 80 years.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Carrie Preston CRIPPEN; one daughter, Mrs. Burton SMITH, of Parma; two brothers, Harmon CRIPPEN, of Sweden, and John CRIPPEN, of Clarkson, and a sister, Mrs. Sherman MERRITT, of Brockport.

SHOULDER DISLOCATED IN FALL
 
George CROWLEY, 56 years old, of No. 18 Market street fell in Front street last night and one of his shoulders was dislocated. He was removed to the General Hospital. CROWLEY's twin brother accompanied him to the hospital. He also was full of spirits. The brothers greatly amused the hospital staff while the damaged shoulder was being attended to.

Miss Abbie SIMON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob SIMON, of Dansville, died at St. Mary's Hospital yesterday afternoon. She leaves besides her parents, three sisters, Miss Fannie SIMON, Miss Julia SIMON and Mrs. William HERRICK; one stepsister, Mrs. Jessie WAGNER, and two step-brothers, Elmer and Louis LOEB, all of Dansville. The remains were removed to No. 464 West avenue and will be taken to Dansville for burial.
 
Ottilia WHITTMAN, infant daughter of John and Theresa WHITTMAN, died yesterday morning at the family home, No. 65 Evergreen street.
 
Robert F. HOPWOOD, 75 years old, died suddenly at his home, No. 9 Greenwood street late Friday night.

SUNSHINE OFFICERS NAMED
 
Mrs. Cynthia Westover Alden Re-elected President-General
 
New officers were elected for a term of five years at the fourteenth annual convention of the International Sunshine Society meeting yesterday morning in Forman Hall, at Starkey Seminary. The officers are: President-general, Mrs. Cynthia WESTOVER ALDEN, of New York; vice-president, Mrs. Theodore S. SEWARD, of new York; secretary, Mrs. Mary BEATTLE, of New York; director, Mrs. Nellie FURNAN, of New York. The names of the candidates were presented to the convention by the Nominating Committee and the election was unanimous.
     Other features of the business meeting were the reports of committees and branches of the work, which were given informally by their various representatives. In the afternoon the delegates were taken for a hay ride and a large party went for a tour through Watkins Glen. In the evening a reception was given for the delegates.
     This morning delegates to the convention will attend services at the Lakemont Christian Church, where Rev. John MacCALMAR, D. D., will preach from the text, "Let Your Light Shine."

Besides her mother she leaves five sisters, Mrs. Fred SCHMITT, Mrs. Joseph WIEGAND and the Misses Mary, Carrie and Florence UNGER, and four brothers, Frank, Andrew, Lawrence and Edwin UNGER. She was a member of the Young Ladies' Sodality of Holy Redeemer Church.    - The funeral will take place Monday from her late residence at 8:30 a.m., and from Holy Redeemer Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in the family lot at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

WEBER - The funeral of Mrs. Anna M. WEBER, wife of George WEBER, was held Saturday morning from her late residence, No. 14 Borchard street, at 8:30, and from the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 9 o'clock. Rev. John P. SCHELLHORN said requiem mass. Burial was made in the family lot at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. The following acted as bearers: J. FOX, L. ANSELM, M. MARTIN, J. LEIDECKER, G. CLASGENSS and B. STOESSER. There was a large delegation of members of Branch No. 997, L.C.B.A., present.

POND, vice-president of the Board of Directors, will preside:  the address to the graduates will be delivered by Rev. Albert W. BEAVEN, pastor of the Lake Avenue Baptist Church:  Dr. John F. W. WHITBECK, president of the hospital staff will present the class, and the diplomas will be given to the graduates by Mrs. Arthur ROBINSON, president of the Board of Woman Managers.  Robert L. MONAGHAN will sing, accompanied by Herbert M. STERN.

The graduates this year are:  Miss Teresa Elizabeth BOYLE, Miss Florence Virginia COGSWELL, Miss Dorothea Mary DAVIS, Miss Mary Wilhelmina OLDS, Miss Mary Eva WHEATON, Miss Emily WILLYS, Miss Helena Frances BRADY, Miss Dorothy HARRINGTON, Miss Josephine Theresa McGINTY, Miss Jessie Margaret Mc LOUTH and Miss Ethel Blanche SPEAR.

Manitou Reaches Harbor.
The steamer Manitou, which is to ply between Charlotte and Manitou Beach this summer, arrived at Charlotte yesterday from Chicago, where it was purchased by Fred ODENBACH.  (didn't get the rest)  psm

GETS TEN DOLLARS ALIMONY
Wife of Dr. William J. BURDEN Given Allowance Pending Trial:
Supreme Court Justice A.P.  RICH yesterday allowed Mrs. BURDEN, wife of Dr. William J. BURDEN, who is suing her for divorce, $125 counsel fees and $10 per week alimony pending the trial of the action. 
Mrs. BURDEN has brought a countersuit against the physician and if the case goes to trial it will probably be replete with spicy testimony.  Dr. BURDEN’S attorneys tried to have the suit discontinued a few days ago, but his wife objected and he must now go through with it or let the wife take judgment.
