BOY WAS HELPLESSLY DRUNK
A boy of about 17 years was arrested on Central avenue last night by Officers KIRBY and HOEY for intoxication.
The arrest followed a fight in which several young would-be sports were interested. The boy arrested gave the name
of John DICK. He is a callow youth and could not stand, so drunk was he. Several boyish friends who could not raise
$5 to get him out were also under the influence of liquor when they called on Sergeant STEIN.

WAS IN DANGEROUS CONDITION
Gilbert MUCKLE, an engineer, of Canandaigua, was acting in such a manner at the Exchange street lift bridge last
night, as convinced Detective KAVANAUGH that he was not a safe man to let remain about a big ditch. MUCKLE was
in danger of stumbling in when Captain PATTERSON called the detective's attention to him. KAVANAUGH arrested the
man and locked him up on the charge of intoxication.
