DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Mrs. Catherine FRITZ died yesterday, at St. Mary's Hospital, aged 72 years.
-Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, at 7:30 o'clock to-morrow morning.
Mary E. FOOS, aged 87 years, died Friday in Gates. The funeral services were held this morning.
A 6-year-old daughter of Rudolph ERNST died Saturday at the family residence on Schanck avenue. The funeral will
be held 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Israel RICE died yesterday morning at his residence, 13 Pleasant street. Deceased was 65 years old and had been
in the clothing business thirty years. Two sons, Henry and ?eligman RICE, survive him. The funeral was held at
2 o'clock this afternoon.
George A., son of Albert J. BOLTON, died this morning at the family residence, 154 Monroe avenue, aged 2 years.
Carrie P. LATOURETTO, aged 5 years, died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning at her home in Greece, on the Ridge road.
The funeral was held at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

THEY FOUND HIM DEAD
Yesterday afternoon a ten year old son of William R. SEISER of 61 Anne street, died suddenly of epilepsy on the
Sherman street commons, whither he had gone to watch a ball game. He was seen to lie down, after a lapse of a few
minutes, some friends went to where he was and discovered him dead. Dr. Edgar H. EARLE was summoned, but it was
then too late to do any good. Coroner KLEINDIENST ordered the remains removed to the lads home. The coroner gave
a certificate of death from epilepsy. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.

A son of Myron HOVEY is lying quite low with pneumonia.
W. D. SHURT of Rochester and O. M. SHEPARD of New York spent a few days with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J. R. SHUART, last week.

LE ROY
Dr. F. CORRIGAN, the veterinary surgeon who lately established himself here, has suddenly disappeared, leaving
a wife, whom he married, in New York last winter, as well as numerous creditors.
Mr. and Mrs. ?ay ALLEN, who left here in the summer of ‘85 to engage in missionary work in India, have been obliged
to abandon their pursuit on account of Mrs. ALLEN'S feeble health, the climate of India not agreeing with her.
She has been gradually failing and is now seriously ill at Toronto, Canada.
Henry CHILSON will carry his horse suit against Charles BLACKMAN into a higher court.
The remains of Mrs. Hugh HIGGINS were brought here Thursday and interred in Macpelah Cemetery.

Edward FITZGERALD died at his home Friday evening. Funeral services took place yesterday.
Miss Mary G. FERRIS will be married to Harlan PAGGE Thursday evening.
Miss Hattie TROW and Miss Birdie COOK of Knowlesville visited friends in town the latter part of last week.
The Baptist Literary Club elected officers Friday night. James BAKER was chosen president; Miss Addie SPOOR, secretary;
Miss Laura ZIMMERMAN, treasurer.
Miss Jessie FERGUSON has been tendered a position as an assistant preceptress of the Free Academy.
Mark J. SKINNER is laid up with an attack of inflammatory rheumatism.
G. M. FRANY and wife spent yesterday in Albion.

Mt. Morris
Mr. J. S. BROWN, of Le Roy formerly of this place, was here to attend the Hose boy's dance on Thursday night.
John MILLS, son of our townsman, E. A. MILLS, while hunting through a piece of woods, was shot through the leg
by some unknown person. Undoubtedly it was some boys playing with revolvers, as the youngsters about town are in
the habit of so doing.
The Hose boys gave a reception to a number of invited guests on Thursday night and a most enjoyable evening was
spent. Henry BURGEY served first class refreshments.
Daniel COLWELL, who was so unfortunate as to be run away with by a team of horses on Thursday, died Friday morning
from the injuries received. He never regained consciousness. This is a very sad affair and the distracted parents
have the sympathy of the townspeople.
Mrs. C. F. BRAMAN is in Brooklyn.
Thos. McNAMARA will start for New Orleans some time next week. He will be in St. Louis at the time of the convention.

Mr. Will COOLLIERS, accompanied by his cousin Charles L. COOLIERS of Newark, started on Monday for a trip through
the western states.
Elmer J. COUDIT arrived home from Michigan on Tuesday.
Wm. H. SPENCER of Kansas City and Mrs. A. E. BROOKS of Cleveland, Ohio, are visiting their brother Charles T. SEVERANCE.
Dr. Wm. STEVENS of Detroit, Mich., is visiting his uncle I. C. STEVENS.
Frank MACK of Syracuse spent the first of the week in town.
Miss Sarah CROSBY returned from Syracuse on Thursday, where she has been visiting her sister Mrs. T. H. BRUMFIELD.
At the Presbyterian church on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m., occurred the marriage of Mr. Wm. H. WHITAKER of Cleveland,
O., and Miss Jennie K., only daughter of Rev. J. J. PORTER. The groom, accompanied by his cousin, Mr. John WHITAKER,
followed by Revs. Chas. And Henry A. PORTER and the ushers, Messrs, Henry ?URTIS and Russell, followed by the bridesmaids,
Misses, Minnie ADAMS of Phelps, May FAIRBANKS of Watertown and little maid of honor Mary PORTER, preceded the bride,
who entered the outer door of the church leaning on the arm of her father.
Taking their respective places in front of the alter the ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. J. J. PORTER, assisted
by Revs. Henry A. and Chas., and F. Porter, brothers of the bride. After the ceremony the happy couple returned
to their home where a bountiful repast was served. The happy couple took the 7 o'clock train for Washington, D.
C., where they will stay a few days. They will then return to their future home in Cleveland, O, followed by the
good wishes of their many friends.
