Golden City Officers Acquitted
Memphis, June 6, Captain McINTYRE,
Mate BONDURANT and Wash SMITH, captain of the watch, indicted for manslaughter
in connection with the Golden City disaster, were to-day found not guilty.

Garvin, The Aeronaut, Injured
New Orleans, June 6 - GARVIN, the
aeronaut, while descending with a balloon yesterday, struck a tree and was
precipitated to the ground and fatally injured.

RIDLEY - On the morning of the 5th
inst., of paralysis of the brain, Benjamin F. RIDLEY, aged 48 years and 5
months.
-Funeral from the family residence,
27 Park avenue, this (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Suicide of a Bank Teller
San Francisco, June 7 - Charles
GUMMER, teller of the bank of California, suicided this morning. The act is
said to be attributed to losses of stocks. The accounts are said to be all
right.
