-Funeral from the late residence, No. 23 Grape street, on Sunday afternoon at 1 ½ o'clock, and from the German Church, Allen street, at 2 o'clock.

BOARDMAN - In Brighton, N. Y., January 26th William P., son of Silas BOARDMAN, Esq., aged 19 years.

-Just entering life, he seemed to possess all those qualifications which were calculated, in an eminent degree, to make him a true man. By nature loving, yes self-reliant; ambitions, yet steadfast to the right; dignified, yet open and cordial, he was always a bright, warm-hearted and genial friend, which made him a pet of society. At the same time the crowning glory of his life was his religion. Christ was his, and it was his aim, ever, to honor him, in consistency of walk, at home and abroad. All alone he came forward to confess Christ in the Church; and in it, and as a teacher in the Sunday School, he made his influence felt for good as a true disciple. We mourn his loss, yet rejoice in his record, which, though short, is full of loyalty to his divine Lord.
