COURT OF SESSIONS - Judge FULLER and Associate Justices SHERRY and RICHMOND presiding. November 12

ADOLPHUS POB?HLE(?), indicted for assault with intent to commit a rape. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to the Penitentiary for six months.

Jacob D. SMITH, indicted for false pretences. Case put over the term.

James SLOAN, Brockport, assault and battery. Case put over the term.

Margaret O'BRIEN, setting fire to a barn. Trial postponed on account of the absence of a material witness, for whom an attachment was issued.

Morris FARRELL and Michael McCARTHY, indicted for rape. Sworn over the term.

Martin YOUNGS, indicted for assault and battery. - Tried by jury and verdict of not guilty rendered.
This case is one where the circumstances were of a most aggravating nature. The plaintiff was assaulted by defendant for indecently exposing his person.

Samuel FRAZEE and Patrick MURPHY, indicted for burglary in the third degree. On trial.

SHAWL STOLEN

Yesterday morning a Mrs. LEWIS, of Mississippi, had a shawl stolen from her at the Central Depot sitting room.
A young woman who left the sitting room just previous to the time the shawl was missed, and who went on the Niagara Falls train, was suspected of the theft.
A dispatch was sent to Spencerport to arrest the party. She had left the depot at that place and had gone to Parma.
A constable followed and proceeded to search the woman's house. He telegraphed back that he could not find a shawl of any kind on the premises. The probability is that the suspected person is entirely innocent.

BUFFALO MILITARY REVIEW

Gov. FENTON and staff, Adjutant Gen. HOWARD, Judge Advocate YOUNG, and Mayor ROGERS, reviewed the sixty-fifth and seventy-fourth regiments of Buffalo yesterday on the terrace. The Governor and staff were mounted, the former wearing citizen dress and the latter in uniform. The turn out and parade of the Buffalo military is said to have been very (----)

HOTEL THEFT

Some ungracious chap entered the room of John McFISHER in the Commercial Hotel, on Front street, yesterday afternoon, and opening a trunk stole a coat and a pair of pantaloons.
