DEATH OF MRS. MARBLE -
Intelligence was received yesterday P. M., from New York, that Mrs. Delia
West MARBLE, wife of Manton MARBLE editor of the World, died at noon. This
lady had been ill for some time of consumption, and her death was not
unexpected to friends. Mrs. M., was a daughter of the late Ira B. WEST of
this city, and she was married nearly five years since. She was an
accomplished lady and one beloved by her acquaintances. Mrs. MARBLE leaves
two children.
