THE ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT - The explosion of a mortar, used in firing shells for the Lincoln exhibition in front of the Court House last night, inflicted serious injury upon a number of persons. B. B. CASSIDY, a young man in feeble health, had a leg broken. He was taken to the Hospital. W. A. PLUMMER had a cat on his leg. Joseph EDGELL was injured on the head. A boy named ZIMMER, another named ENGLEHARDT and others whose names we have not heard were taken away from the scene of the disaster, more or less injured. None of the cases will prove fatal.
