YELLOW FEVER.
We regret to state that a decided case of the yellow fever has been this
morning ascertained to exist in this city, at the corner of Front & Broad
streets. The subject is recently from Philadelphia. We have now
redeemed our pledge to make known the fact as soon as a case should occur.
The following letter from Dr. HOSACK to his honor the Mayor, dated this
morning, is more particular. Dr. H. deserves much credit for the prompt
manner in which he has communicated the painful intelligence to the public.--N.Y.
Spectator. pm
