Grand Opening of the Lafayette Historical Society Museum.
It will open in the Carnegie Library Building on June 1, 2000. The building was vacated recently by the Darlingtion Public Library when it moved to the new building next door.
Temporary exhibits will be set up as new permanent exhibits are planned and set up. The enlarged history room will be available for public use.
Current plans are for the museum to be open Every Day 1:00 to 4:30 PM depending on availablity of volunteers.
