HILLINGDON

Family History Society

St. John The Baptist, Hillingdon

Hillingdon Family History Society was founded in 1988 and exists to promote and encourage family history, local history and genealogy. We are affiliated to the Federation of Family History Societies. The Society functions entirely by the efforts of voluntary workers and is non-profit making.

Our area embraces the following nine ancient parishes which were once part of the County of Middlesex and now constitute the London Borough of Hillingdon:

  • Hillingdon
  • Ickenham
  • Ruislip
  • West Drayton
Where available, click to obtain further information about each of the parishes.
Information for other Parishes will be added as soon as available.

Everyone is welcome to join or just visit our Society whether they have an interest in the area or just live locally. We usually meet on the 3rd Thursday in every month (except August and December) at:

Hillingdon Park Baptist Church Hall
Hercies Road
Hillingdon Circus
Middlesex

Doors open 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start. If you need any information, whether you are an expert or a beginner, there are always people available to help you. For details of our programme of events see here. We also have a Research Room which is open on some Friday and Saturday morning to Members and Visitors.

The Society is a partner in Dovetail Community Outreach organised by the Hillingdon Park Baptist Church and further details may be found here.
